Parenthood at the moment

The wife and I left our 10- and 12-year-old kids at home last night and set off walking to a nearby restaurant.

Our dinner instructions: “Can you guys just figure it out?”

Their response: “Yep.”

And they did and were fine.

We’ve come a long way. 😅
