The Workload Fairy Tale, why fonts on macOS look better
Two interesting posts:
Cal Newport's The Workload Fairy Tale. Cal cites some studies indicating that a four-day work week improved employee wellbeing without reducing productivity. Cal describes the phenomenon where we fill up our weeks with tasks because we assume activity corresponds with usefulness. The workload fairytale is the idea that our current commitments and obligations represent the exact amount of work we need to be doing to be successful.
Thoughts: provoked.
Why fonts look better on macOS than on Windows. Interesting! I've definitely noticed this and appreciate the macOS aesthetic on this point.
