Prepping for change

We're about to do a major reorg at work. It's gonna be a thing.

Reorienting after vacation

We had a blast over the holidays taking the kids on a surprise trip to some theme parks. We're all still adjusting back to normal life.

Getting back on the health wagon

Predictably, the holidays derailed my great track record of drinking less and eating better. Time to get back on the wagon.

Christmas stuff

Wrapping presents, seeing family, all the stuff. So far it's been more fun than exhausting. πŸ˜‰ I have one more day of work before vacation, but it'll be a light one.

Prepping to surprise my kids

We're taking them to Disney World the day after Christmas. We've managed to keep the secret and are very excited!

Writing annual performance reviews at work

It's exhausting.

Having too much fun with Alfred

Alfred! My old friend! I'd left Alfred for Raycast a while back, but now I'm so pleased to rediscover Alfred and see that it's still as relevant as ever in 2024.

I'm playing with custom Workflows and porting some of my Keyboard Maestro macros over.

(See above re: procrastination.)

Building out this blog and custom domain

Great fun! There's so much I want to write, but I need to find the time.

Diving back into RSS

I've dusted off Reeder, rediscovered some blogs I used to follow, finding some others have been shuttered, and adding several new ones to my list.

I'm enjoying this, but I feel it's at the expense of reading books. I'll need to swing back into some balance there.
