Big mood.
I forgot to address this in my post on being in a sales org. The sales lingua franca has been a literal joke for years, but so many people use it so earnestly!
Leverage is the worst. We don't use anything; we leverage everything. So much leveraging. I'm desensitized now out of necessity, but sometimes I snap out of my stupor and remember how silly it is.
And before I was in sales, I was in software engineering. Over there, something isn't "different" or "unrelated." No no, it's orthogonal, my friends. One benefit of the sales gig is I don't hear this one as much now.
Okay, I'm climbing down from my high horse. I say dumb stuff, too. But let's all try to do better, yeah?

Any word you have to hunt for in a thesaurus is the wrong word. There are no exceptions to this rule. ― Stephen King
The chief virtue that language can have is clearness, and nothing detracts from it so much as the use of unfamiliar words. ― Hippocrates
One day I will find the right words, and they will be simple. ― Jack Kerouac
When I read a piece of business writing, whether it’s a proposal, a report, or a simple email, I’m turned off by people who have invested more energy trying to sound smart than in trying to be smart. — Stop Trying to Sound Smart When You’re Writing | Harvard Business Review
