Flight
I’m starting a ~6-hour flight across the States. I’ve been looking forward to this for weeks. I love a long flight!
I love it in part because I don’t have to travel very often, so there’s a novelty factor. But I love it mostly because, amidst a busy life of work and young kids, these are 6 hours of relative peace, quiet, and solitude. That’s a rare treat for yours truly, Introvert.
I’ve got a handful of nerdy little side quests I intend to pursue. And in case I lose interest in those, I have a handful of shows that friends have feverishly insisted I watch.

Sidebar: I’m typing this on my brand-spankin’ new MacBook Air 15”. It’s my new work laptop, which I chose after giving a Chromebook the ol’ college try. I was torn between the possibility of the 13” and the larger screen of the 15”. I went big and am enjoying the view.
